Description
English: Photograph of Stanisław Andrzej Aleksander Grodyński ("Stan", son of Andrzej Stanislaw Tadeusz the author of the book 'The Grodyński Brigade'), grandson of Stanisław Sylwester Alfonzy and great-grandson of dr Andrzej Kusionowicz Grodyński, on presentation of the Gdów Medal on 5th July 2018 by the Mayor of Gdów Municipality, Zbigniew Wojas, accompanied in the Mayor’s office by school teacher and ‘translator’, Jowita Kasprzyk. The medal was awarded in recognition of Stan's efforts to preserve the contributions of his ancestors in Gdów and across Poland in furthering national education, justice for all, and independence from previously hostile neighbouring states.
The Scotch Mist Gallery contains photographs of historic buildings, monuments, memorials and people of Poland.
