Un examen attentif ne nous a pas permis de résoudre la question,et les RR. PP. Cahier et Martin, tout en publiant un certain nombre despécimens de cet art dans leurs Mélanges darchéologie et dhistoire, ontomis de soccuper de cette question technologique. reliquaires divers. Dans linfinie variété de formes que présententles reliquaires, il en est quil est impossible de classer dune façon rigou-reuse, et que nous rapprochons sous une même rubrique banale.
