Cavalcassellela compare avec raison à la Sainte Famille de la collection Baring, àLondres, et fait remarquer que son intérêt tient au mélange des élé-ments vénitiens et florentins dont Fra Luciano a su se composer unemanière très individuelle et très accentuée. Du Titien, deux tableaux : La Vierge et lEnfant et le Portrait ducardinal Pallavicini qui, quoique placé un peu haut, ma paru supé-rieur à la Vierge. La Danaé est une répétition du tableau de Naplesque je ne crois pas originale. La Judith, de Moretto de Brescia, ne fera pas oublier les deux toilescélèbres de Vienne et de Francfort. Jupiter et lo, du Meldolla (Andréa Schiavone), na dautre intérêtquun beau paysage peint par Domenico Gampagnola.
