English: Memorial "Schwabenkinder" at the reservoir Kops in the district Partenen in the municipality of Gaschurn in Vorarlberg, Austria. Even until the 20th century, children of poor farmers had to separate themselves from their parents near this place and came to Friedrichshafen (Germany) on the "children's market", where they were assigned to rich farmers as cheap workers and had to spend the summer for working. The monument was designed by the artist Arthur Salner and planned by architect Max Schönherr.
