Summary
[edit]DescriptionGalton, postbox No. DT2 136 - geograph.org.uk - 1365075.jpg |
English: Galton: postbox № DT2 136 This little George V-reign postbox hugs a wooden post and is set at a very low level. It serves the hamlet of Galton and will take only the smallest of letters. It is emptied at 9 o'clock each weekday and Saturday morning, although I suspect it may often already be empty when the postman inspects it.
The A352 runs just to the left of picture, and traffic may just be discerned coming towards us, to the right of the tree and above the field. |
