| Description |
English: Back to Lake Tanganyika. Congo has its load of layered history, however it wouldn't be inaccurate to argue that Belgium, the foremost colonizer of this country, hasn't left significant traces in the nation's cuisine, when speaking about the eastern part. The administrative language being French doesnot reveal much of the past-days horror, and it's rather remixed with Swahili in a very pleasant way. So here is that yet-remaining, genuine lonely piece of Belgium, enacted in a dry margarine-saturated waffle eaten on the street. It's named Galette, and is sold everywhere, though quality varies.
