Description

Male Chiloé Wigeon (Anas sibilatrix) in an ornamental pond. Native to South America, it was introduced to Europe in 1870. Thanks to Scyrene for the ID. Again, not a brilliant photo due to conditions.

Hertfordshire GOC's 13 April 2013 walk, which was a circular walk starting in Studham (at Studham Common) and visiting Hudnall, Hudnall Common, Great Gaddesden, Jockey End and Clements End.
