Nederlands: Dit monument is opgericht na de berging, in 2002, van een bommenwerper die op 5 mei 1943 neerstortte in een weiland, twee kilometer van de plaats van het monument. Bij de berging van de Vickers Wellington werden de stoffelijke resten van twee Canadese bemanningsleden gevonden. Een derde bemanningslid lag al sinds 1943 begraven op de begraafplaats achter de kerk, waarvan de ingang naast het monument is. De drie mannen, Robert Moulton, Joseph Thibaudeau en Joseph White, rusten nu achter elkaar op het kerkhof.
Het monument is zo geplaatst dat het hoogste hoekpunt wijst in de richting van de plaats, twee kilometer verderop, waar het vliegtuig neerstortte. Het beeld staat in een bed van wit grind. Dit witte veld wordt aan twee zijden geflankeerd door stroken met rode stenen waartussen tevens rode lage struikjes zijn neergezet: het wit en rood uit de vlag van Canada.
