Description

Old accordion in the collection of Petosa Accordions, Seattle, Washington, on display in their shop. Plate marking on it says "G. Galleazzi Accordeon (sic) Maker, (illegible number) Jackson Rd., San Francisco, Cal...", (illegible) July (illegible date, possibly 1895), (illegible) awarded (illegible)".

I'm afraid this is not a great picture: it was taken handheld in difficult lighting conditions; I've done my best to sharpen it.

If someone knows more about accordions, please feel free to enhance the description. G. Galleazzi made his accordions in a family shop in the late 1800's at 478 Jackson St. in San Francisco. He made a full range of button diatonic and piano models.
