Description
Français : Au Bénin ce sont les masques Gèlèdé qui mettent en valeur les rites, la culture, les récits et leur transmission du peuple Yoruba.

Les masques Gèlèdé sont reconnaissables par leur trois parties distinctes. La base représente un visage de femme (la « mère ») surmontée par un plateau qui laisse place libre à l’imagination du créateur de représenter des petites scènes de la vie de tous les jours. Chaque masque raconte une histoire.

Je me suis permis de me laisser inspirer par ce modèle pour, à mon tour, partager mon voyage fabuleux à la découverte d’un patrimoine immatériel transmis de bouche à oreille.
