Description
English: Furlong House in Morisset Street, Queanbeyan, New South Wales. Furlong House was built in the 1850s for William Hunt. "Furlong" was a name given by a mayor of Queanbeyan, John Esmond, from a name in which his wife's family owned in New South Wales. The verandah was added by James Percy Collett whom lived in the house. In 1926, the iron lace railings were relocated from the Royal Hotel to the verandah.
