Summary
[edit]DescriptionFujifilm FinePix S5600.png |
English: The Fujifilm FinePix S5600 (S5200 in North America) is a bridge camera released in 2005. It comes with a 1/2.5" sensor of proprietary design called SuperCCD, the fifth generation of which allows for somewhat better dynamic range and low-light performance than some contemporary Point&Shoot competitors. Nominal resolution is 5.1 MP, but it is possible to obtain 10.2 MP images by enabling RAW due to the way this type of SuperCCD works. While image quality isn't equal to a true 10 MP camera, more detail than out-of-camera JPEG can be recovered in post-processing. There is also a video mode recording in 640x480@30 FPS with mono sound from the internal microphone. Optics are a 38-380mm (35mm equivalent) superzoom lens with F3.2-3.5, whereas data storage relies on xD-Picture card exclusively. There is no built-in memory. Connectivity encompasses Mini-B USB 2.0 and analog video/audio output via a Mini-AV 2.5mm jack. Power is provided by four AA batteries or an external 5V adapter. |
