Description

This is the sheme of the FTTH_GPON optical fiber deployment. This is to be compared with the FTTH_P2P sheme.Image:Ftth_p2p_french.svg The Gpon is an easy way to bring optical fiber to home users, but that technology splits the broadband between users. The p2p technology ( point to point ) is more costly, but is the only way to give the home user a dedicated optical fiber.

Will try to edit an english version soon.
