Front of RT1702 bus inside Bromley Bus Garage

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: This photo shows the front of preserved RT1702 (KYY 529) a 1950 AEC Regent III with Park Royal 56-seater bodywork. It is on display at an Open Day being held at Bromley Bus Garage.
The bonnet of this vehicle has been lifted to show the AEC 9.6 litre engine rated at 115bhp at 1,800rpm. The destination display shows it to be on route 47 which used to run from Shoreditch to Farnborough via London Bridge, Lewisham, Catford and Bromley. Nowadays, that route only runs between Shoreditch High Street (TQ3382) and Catford Bus Garage (TQ3772).
