Description
English: Inside R211 car No. 4077 in Far Rockaway–Mott Avenue-bound A service, stopped on the Downtown express track on the upper level of the West Fourth Street – Washington Square subway station, under 6th Avenue and West 3rd Street in Greenwich Village, Manhattan. Pictured are the new wide exit doors which, along with smaller windows, make the car interior feel much larger than the other 60-foot subway cars (like the R160 across the platform), and more like the 75-foot R46 cars. Note the lights along the doorways turn red when the doors are closing.
