Description

Fridel Engert née Meyer (1904–1982), known to the public at that time as Fridel Meyer and in later years as Fridel Dalling-Hay, having set out in her kayak from Westminster, London, England, with the intention of circumnavigating the UK. Here she poses (left) outside Edinburgh City Chambers with Bailie Adams and Councillor Mrs Morison Millar (right).
