Description

Fridel Engert née Meyer (1904–1982), known to the public at that time as Fridel Meyer and in later years as Fridel Dalling-Hay, having set out in her kayak from Westminster, London, England, with the intention of circumnavigating the UK. Here she lands at Clacton-on-Sea.

Note: A full attempt has been made, via libraries, books, magazines, collections, archives, internet etc., to establish the name of the author. None has been found.
