Deutsch: Die Fresnelsche Zone ist ein gedachtes Rotationsellipsoid, in dessen Brennpunkten die beiden Antennen stehen und über dessen Rand der Umweg für das reflektierte Signal eine halbe Wellenlänge beträgt.
English: The Fresnel zone is one of a (theoretically infinite) number of a concentric ellipsoids of revolution which define volumes in the radiation pattern of a (usually) circular aperture.
