English: Freising, cathedral, grave stone
Deutsch: Freising, Dom, inneres südliches Seitenschiff: Grabmal des Otto Semoser (Anfang 13. Jh. bzw. um 1230). Semoser war Türsteher des Bischofs Gerold, sein Grabmal ist in der aufwendigen Gestaltung mit dem figürlichen Relief für diese Zeit sehr ungewöhnlich. – „Ein wohl singuläres Denkmal dafür, einem Nichtadeligen eine derart aufwendige Grabplatte zu widmen. ... Der überproportionierte Kopf mit dem mächtigen Vollbart ist als Porträtversuch zu verstehen. Ein langer feingefältelter Mantel, der nur den rechten Arm freigibt, bedeckt den schmächtigen Körper fast bis zu den Knöcheln“ (Gottfried Weber).
