English: The bronze shrine in the first vestibule of Freemasons' Hall, designed by Walter Gilbert. An Egyptian boat on reeds carries a bronze casket. Winged seraphim with gold trumpets adorn the corners. At the centre, in a circle, God's hand holds a figure representing the soul of Man. The four gilded figures along the front are Moses, Joshua, Solomon and St George. On top are gilded kneeling figures representing the Navy, Army, Royal Marines and Royal Flying Corps.
