Monument of composer and kapellmeister Franz Abt in Brunswick, dedicated July 13, 1891; melted down for its material to support the war machine during WW II. Design by Carl Friedrich Echtermeier (* 1845; † 1910), cast in bronze by Hermann Heinrich Howaldt (*1841; †1891). The swallows on the monument’s base are reminiscent of a well-known song composed by Franz Abt: When the Swallows Homeward Fly.Deutsch: Schwarzweißfotografie, reproduziert als Ansichtskarte Nr. 239; Druck: Georg Selle Kunstanstalt, Berlin, (Malerpalette mit drei Pinseln und dem Umdruck G.S.K.B. als Logo); bearbeitet mit Gimp 2.10 von Werner Wiese, Wendeburg-Sophiental.
Denkmal für den Komponisten und Kapellmeister Franz Abt in Braunschweig, eingeweiht am 13. Juli 1891; während des Zweiten Weltkriegs zu Kriegszwecken eingeschmolzen.
