Deutsch: Jügelhaus. Campus Bockenheim der Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main. Der Eingang des „Jügelhauses“ war der ehemalige Haupteingang des Hauptgebäudes der Universität in der heutigen Mertonstraße 17-21. Neobarockes Gebäude von 1906, Architekt Ludwig Neher (1850-1916). Errichtet als „Akademie für Handels- und Sozialwissenschaften“; Sandsteinfassade des Jügelhauses in formaler Anlehnung an den Mittelbau des Mannheimer Schlosses; nach Zerstörungen des Zweiten Weltkrieges verändert. |
