Title
Fragment of possible Roman tile, side view.
Description
English: Frgament of tile, possibly Roman in date. This fragment is subrectangular in plan and section. It is 35.5mm long, 31.92mm wide, 21.82mm thick and weighs 38.87g. It is fairly abraded and worn, but it is possible to see that the tile has misfired, in that it has two orange coloured faces and a dark grey core. Though a Roman date is postulated, given the wear, it could be possible that this tile dates from any period upto the 18th century.
