Description
English:

Fragment of a medieval or early-medieval copper-alloy annular brooch. About a quarter of the brooch is extant, with worn breaks at either end. It is flat in cross-section and decorated on one side with engraved oblique lines, forming a running zig-zag. Its diameter is estimated to have been about 50mm. Similar brooch fragments have been recorded on this database dating to the early medieval and medieval periods: NMS-3793B2, NMS-73E163 and NMS-212C24. c. 500-1400.
