Description
English: The national flag that was carried by the fourth infantry of California volunteers was an American flag consisting of 13 red and white stripes and a blue canton with 35 golden stars and in the stripes were fourth Infantry California volunteers. On page 38 of “the story of California and her flags from 1849 to present, written by Harry Knill, published by Bellerphon books, 1994 edition” shows us the fourth California infantry flag and what it looked like. It was Mostly based off the one in the state capital
