English: Dr Mark Chen, a former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Taiwan and the current chairman of the Prospect Foundation, visited the UK from the 19th-20th October, where he called upon a number of British officials and UK-based think tanks.
Dr Chen also met with the UK’s new Representative to Taiwan, Catherine Nettleton, where views were exchanged on subjects ranging from Taiwan’s new southbound policy, cross-strait relations and Taiwan’s meaningful participation in international organisations. 中文(臺灣):前台灣外交部長及現任遠景基金會董事長陳唐山博士於19日至20日訪問英國,並拜會英國當地數位官員和智庫。 陳博士亦與英國新任駐台代表唐凱琳會面,就新南向政策、海峽兩岸關係和台灣實質參與國際組織等議題交換意見。 (直譯自駐英台北代表處網站,原文為英語) |
