| Description |
This forbidding building, facing Gediminas Avenue in Vilnius, is the former KGB headquarter in Lithuania, where tens of thousands Lithuanians were interrogated and imprisoned in dark cellars, many also tortured and killed. Fittingly, this is now home to the Museum of Genocide Victims whith some of the old cells in the cellar open for visits. Entrance is from the other side of the building, in the quiet Aukų street. |
