What a cutie! This one looks pretty tidy, despite having sat here for many years. Being in a shed has helped, however... This museum is an absolute 'must-visit' place if you're a car nut visiting Christchurch - although remember that just a quick drive around the city usually brings up some old cars! It has everything from vintage horse-drawn carriages, fire engines, a racing history building, a heritage printing press to the actual car display building itself, and the many gems littered around the vast site. Most vehicles are privately owned and on show while the owners could be, for example, overseas. Others have been donated and are on show permanently. The rotating exhibits always provide something new... |
