Description
English: This photograph of the Ford Piquette Avenue Plant in Detroit, Michigan, was taken sometime around 1906 when Ford Motor Company occupied the building (it was built for the company in 1904). A Ford Model N (predecessor of the Ford Model T) can be seen driving east on Piquette Avenue in the foreground. Per the online archives of the Henry Ford here: [1], this picture was taken in 1905; however, a very similar picture in the same archives here: [2] is dated 1906. 1906 is the most plausible date for when this picture was taken, as engines for the Ford Model N did not begin to be produced until the spring of 1906.
