Summary
[edit]DescriptionFord Island Control Tower (5888860876).jpg |
This control tower was in use on Ford Island on 7 December 1941, when American pilots were busy scrambling to get into the air to fight the swarm of Japanese Zero fighters attacking the Pacific Fleet. Abandoned for decades, the structure is now undergoing structural stabilization to prevent further decay, with possible future full restoration. |
