| Description |
English: Footway, Clopton Bridge The Clopton Bridge was built in the 15th century and still carries traffic on the A422 across the river Avon. The bridge was widened in 1811 and the 10 sided toll house, on the left, was built in 1814. The cast iron footway was added in 1827.
The toll house is an English Heritage grade 1 listed building, see http://www.english-heritage.org.uk/server/show/ConBar.6563 |
