Title
English: Footprints at the Trench
Description
English:

A trench dug-out to demonstrate the sedimentary layers on the side walls. Perspective taken from inside the trench shows footprints found on multiple levels of trench floor.

Trenches are a common practice in order to reveal sedimentary layers and estimate timelines. The footprints found at different layers suggest that prehistoric cultures were present over a period of time, as opposed to an isolated event.
