Summary
[edit]DescriptionFootbridge over drainage ditch - geograph.org.uk - 1738532.jpg |
English: Footbridge over drainage ditch There are many footpaths and ditches criss-crossing the woods on Brereton Heath Country Park and most of the ditches are crossed with bridges similar to this one, the construction is a very simple one with just two secondhand railway sleepers laid between the banks, making it cheap and effective. The evergreen bush next to the bridge is a Holly (Ilex aquifolium) which gives a splash of colour in an otherwise bare looking winter woodland scene. |
