Description Localiza-se num ponto central da vila do Alandroal, na Praça da República, onde se realizam também os mercados periódicos. De arquitetura barroca, possui um brasão do século XVIII, ladeado por duas esculturas, cada uma com uma inscrição. Na da esquerda está inscrito “Aqui chora Tetis: Para que te lastimas, viandante sitibundo? Ela que te ama verte lágrimas para que te rias. Bebe", enquanto que na direita pode ler-se “Aqui o Deus que reina sobre as águas abriu as bocas do mar para que fuja do peito a cruel sede de Tântalo".
