Summary
[edit]DescriptionFontaneweg F5 Nuthe 1.JPG |
English: Fontaneweg F5 at the river Nuthe nearby Saarmund, Brandenburg, Germany. The walk is a part of the "Fontanewanderwege", which are named after the novelist and poet Theodor Fontane and are created on the basis of Fontane's Wanderungen durch die Mark Brandenburg (1862-1882, 5 vols.). The delightfully picturesque books, in which he successfully transposed his former fascination with British historical matters to his native soil, show Fontane's fascination with the countryside surrounding Berlin, the Mark Brandenburg. |
