Italiano: La Fontana Cavallina é un complesso architettonico ad anfiteatro entro il quale si innalza un monumento di stile neoclassico con varie fontane e, di fronte, un ampia vasca circolare.
Realizzata tra il 1865 e il 1893 sulla base di un progetto redatto dall’architetto Giuseppe Antonio Locuratolo, nato a Melfi nel 1796 e trasferitosi a Genzano di Lucania a seguito della repressione dei moti carbonari verificatisi in Basilicata nel 1820-21. Domina il monumento la statua *dea Cerere* risalente al II-III sec. a.C., rinvenuta presso la pila grande nella zona dell'antica Festula. Il 25 ottobre del 1978 la Fontana Cavallina è comparsa sul francobollo da L. 120 della serie *Fontane d'Italia*. E' stata riconosciuta fra le 33 fontane più belle d'Italia.
