Description
Français : "Fontaine à un jet de 1844, avec bassin rectangulaire Inscrit dans un décor architectural italianisant, en prolongation et en décrochement du mur de clôture des jardins des trois immeubles du XVIII siècle de la rue Beauregard. Le motif central s'inspire du thème le la porte en plein centre avec fronton interrompu, coupée à mi-hauteur par un mur qui donne par sa forme de niche un caractère intimiste. L'architecte Jean-Pierre Guillebaud a parfaitement résolu le problème de la pente et du tournant de la rue.

Il a choisi l'ordre toscan avec quelques fantaisies pour l'ornement : pointes de diamant et coquille dans la partie supérieure, décor d'écailles dans la partie basse. Le sculpteur Louis Dorcière réalisa le modèle du dragon pour le goulot. L'exécution de l'ouvrage fut attribué a Magnin, entrepreneur. L'alimentation en eau provenait des sources de la Cuisine, au-dessus du parc de La Grange."
