Here's another old friend, an FW-190 with a liquid cooled engine that I remember seeing at the Champlin Fighter Museum. The inside of the gear wells as legs are painted a dak green/gray. (RLM-02) and the main wheels are now a dark gray/black. I think they were natural metal or aluminum painted earliker. Presumably this is more accurate. Note how wide the chord of the FW-190 prop is, and the lack of safety markings on the tips. 102-0224_IMG |
