If you have only one Jasmine, let it be this one. Grand Duke of Tuscany.—This Jasmine is very easily grown, even small plants bearing a profusion of very double, cream white flowers, hav- ing a delicious perfume. Confederate Jasmine, Rhyn- cospermum Jasminoides. — This makes an elegant hard-wooded climb- er, or can be trained in bush form. It will delight all. 10 cents each; strong plants, 25 cents each. JUSTICIA CARNEA. Brazilian Plume Plant. Perhaps no plants have attracted so much attention in the last two years as the Justicia, or Brazilian Plume Plant. The plant is a strong, rapid grower, and throws up long stems, on which are produced fine, plume-like pink flow- ers, the ends of each petal drooping in a most charming manner When the plants are but a few months old they are literally covered with their beauti- ful blossoms. It does equally well either for house or outdoor culture. 8 cents each. LXNUM TRIGYNUM. A plant of great beauty, producing in the greatest profusion very large and showy blossoms of a bright yellow color. It is probably the freest Winter bloom- ing plant we have. 8 cents each. L ANT AN AS, OR SHRUBBY VERBENAS. The brilliant colors, robust growth and profuse blooming habit of the Lan- tana render it one of the finest bedding plants we grow. The flowers embrace all of the most delicate shades of orange, sulphur, creamy white, etc., chang- ing from one distinct color to another as they increase in age and develop- ment. The varieties we have give a wide range of oolor, and include the most distinct and profuse kinds. 6 cents each. WEEPING LANTANA. A New Weeping Plant of Great Beauty. One of the grandest basket plants grown. The plant has a most graceful, drooping habit, grows very rapid- ly and blooms continually Summer and Winter, producing large clusters of flow- ers of the most delicate lilac or rosy pink, foliage a beautiful dark green. A single Slant on August 1st, this past Summer, had five hundred and ninety clusters of owers on it. The same plant December 1st had three hundred and fifty clus- ters of flowers on, which proves it one of the most per- sistent bloomers, and does equally well Winter and Summer. We know of nothing of recent introduc- tion thatisso easily grown. See cut on page 61. Strong plants, 10 cents each; three for £5 cents.
