Summary
[edit]DescriptionFlooded fields - geograph.org.uk - 138928.jpg |
English: Flooded fields. At the end of the 1800s, the level of Loch Leven was dropped by some four feet to reclaim the land around the loch. Today the RSPB have blocked the culverts to flood the fields once again in an effort to improve the habitat for the birds.
Bishop Hill is in the background. |
