The stone touched by the Devine Lord Ram

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The floating stones of the Ram Setu were supposedly carved by the army of Hanumans that Lord Ram led to connect India and Sri Lanka. The floating stone has been the height of controversy between geologists and religious beliefs. This stone floats on a deep water tank placed in Panchamukha Hanuman Temple in Rameshwaram in spite of its mass of about 14-15 Kg. This stone gives the impression of the local belief of the physical presence of Lord Ram and mythical ape-like Hanuman who were smiths. while the geologists describe it as shoals or large blocks of corals.
