Description

U.S. Army soldiers stand guard while an Iraqi man watches in the distance as the sun sets at the beginning of a patrol during Operation Magnon al-Wombet in Shaab, Iraq, April 10, 2009. The operation was designed to stop the flow of improvised explosive devices, weapons and contraband from the outskirts of the city into its center.
