Summary

[edit]
Description

Three Singaporean Armed Forces High Mobility Artillery Rocket System launchers fire almost simultaneously on Fort Sill's range Oct. 30 during Operation Daring Warrior. Because of Singapore's tiny size, the SAF can't fire the HIMARS unless they come to an installation like Fort Sill and Operation daring Warrior is the first time many of the SAF crewmembers have taken part in a live-fire of their system. Operation Daring Warrior is a month-long, bi-lateral exercise, now in its fourth year at Fort Sill, Okla., the put U.S. soldiers side-by-side with Singaporean Armed Forces soldier firing High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems, calling for fires and strengthening the bond of a strategic partner in the Pacific Rim region.
