Description

A Soldier dangles from a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter as he is lowered to the ground during a training exercise conducted by Company C, 2nd Battalion, 227th Aviation Regiment, 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, Jan. 21. The training was conducted from several different altitudes so the helicopter crews could familiarize themselves on hoist operations.
