Summary

[edit]
Description

View from the North Trail, Lehigh Gap Nature Center, Carbon and Lehigh Counties, along the Blue Mountain ridgeline.

Toxic metals from nearby zinc smelters destroyed the original vegetation here; however, the nature center has been actively revegetating the area. The lack of trees provides sweeping views in all directions.
