Description

Op zondag 22 maart 2009 organiseerde de stichting Nederland Bekent Kleur de "Dag tegen Racisme" in De Melkweg in Amsterdam. De bijeenkomst staat in het kader van de jaarlijkse internationale dag tegen racisme van de Verenigde Naties

Er wordt gedebateerd over de beeldvorming over minderheden in Nederlande met ondermeer journalist Francisco van Jole (columnist De Leugen Regeert), Edwin Huizing (directeur VluchtelingenWerk Nederland), Mohamed Rabbae (Oud-Tweede Kamerlid Groenlinks en initiatiefnemer Eén land, één samenleving) en Ahmed Marcouch (Stadsdeelvoorzitter Slotervaart). Debatvoorzitter: Rosalie Smit (onderzoeker U.v.A.).
