[edit]DescriptionFlickr - DVIDSHUB - Fallen Warrior Ceremony (Image 33 of 35).jpg |
Men and women at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia take part in a Fallen Warrior ceremony. Each time Fallen Warriors transit the base here, a dignified transfer is held with a chaplain reciting a short prayer and rendering of a "final salute." The ceremonies offer an opportunity for those who serve to reflect and pay respect for those who've made the ultimate sacrifice. This dignified transfer was held on Nov. 30, 2010 at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia.
