Description
English: BROOKLYN, NY - (May 21, 2008) - A U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps (NSCC) Cadet aboard the U.S. Navy?s amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD-3), looks down from the ship?s flight deck at a U.S. Coast Guard 25-foot Secure All-around Flotation Equipped (SAFE) boat, providing security for the ship at anchorage in Gravesend Bay. The boat was one of many of its class to perform the maritime security task, along with USCG Cutters Line, Hawser, Ridley and Bainbridge Island.
