Own work Geometry and dimensions from Law 54/60. The law is quoted (or more likely translated and paraphrased) in a Flag Institute paper: Doubts and certainties in vexillology.
The wording is not fully explainable and it may not have been what the government intended, but the outcome is a flag with a 3:4 ratio. See also the discussion at Flags of the World (FOTW). There is no evidence that anybody actually manufactures flag that complies with the 3:4 ratio. The government would do well to rewrite and/or clarify its flag law. |
