Onderwerp: Gemeentevlag.

De Raad van de gemeente Ameland;

Overwegende, dat het wenselijk is voor deze gemeente een vlag vast te stellen;
Op voorstel van Burgemeester en Wethouders;

Besluit:

vast te stellen, dat de vlag der gemeente Ameland zal bestaan uit vier horizontale banen

van boven naar beneden blauw, geel, blauw, geel. In elk der blauwe banen een omgewende

wassenaar van zilver en in elk der gele banen 3 zwarte rechter schuinbalken.


Afschrift van dit besluit zenden aan:

1. de Gedeputeerde Staten in de Provincie Friesland te Leeuwarden;
2. de Rijksarchivaris in de Provincie Friesland te Leeuwarden.
Ameland, 27 Juni 1950.
